Real Estate School for Success Policies

1. Mission Statement

The Real Estate School for Success provides comprehensive education of the highest quality to adults seeking successful careers as real estate salesmen, brokers, appraisers, and property managers. This education will be provided by qualified and experienced instructors in a classroom setting.

3. Location of Office and Classrooms

3.1 Location

The Real Estate School for Success is located at 288 Saint Andrews Road, Columbia, South Carolina 29210 (1.5 miles from the intersection of St Andrews Road and I-26 or Bush River Road and I-20).

3.2 Classroom Sizes

Classroom sizes are limited to no more than thirty (30) students per class to ensure quality training and teacher/student interaction. Classrooms are equipped with overhead projectors, vending machines, and restrooms.

3.3 Compliance

The offices and classrooms comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Students with disabilities will be accommodated.

4. Operating Hours

4.1 Staff Availability

Staff is available Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

4.2 Course Hours

Course hours differ for each course and may not coincide with Admissions Office hours. Schedules are provided to potential students. Courses are offered year-round.

4.3 Holidays

The Admissions Office is closed and courses are not held on Federal or State holidays.

5. Corporate Structure

The Real Estate School for Success is privately owned and operated and is not affiliated with any real estate brokerage companies.

6. Tobacco Policy

Smoking or chewing tobacco is prohibited inside the school building. Students may use tobacco outside and must dispose of cigarettes properly.

7. Alcohol Policy

7.1 Alcohol Consumption

Students may not consume alcohol on school premises.

7.2 Intoxication

Students who arrive intoxicated will not be permitted in class.

7.3 Expulsion

Students who repeatedly arrive intoxicated may be expelled.

8. Mobile/Cell Phone Policy

8.1 Cell Phone Use

Phones must be completely turned off while in the classroom (no vibrate or silent).

8.2 Break Areas

Phones may be used in designated break areas.

8.3 Disruptive Use

Students who repeatedly use their phones during class will be asked to leave.

8.4 Landline Availability

Office landline phones are not available for student use except in emergencies.

9. Perfume and Cologne

9.1 Restriction

Students may not wear perfume or cologne while attending classes due to allergy concerns.

9.2 Removal

Students wearing perfume or cologne will be asked to leave until it can be removed.

9.3 Deodorant

Deodorant is allowed and encouraged.

10. Tuition Policy

10.1 Tuition Payment

Full tuition must be paid before the course start date.

10.2 No Transfer

Tuition cannot be transferred to another student once a course has started.

10.3 Accepted Payment Methods

Cash, personal check, certified check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover.
The school does not offer financial aid or financing.

10.4 Dishonored Checks

Dishonored checks incur a $35 fee plus any bank fees.

10.5 Invalidated Certificates

If a check is dishonored after a certificate has been issued, the certificate will be invalidated.

11. Course Accreditation

All courses are reviewed and accredited by the South Carolina Real Estate Commission.

12. General Admissions and Attendance Policy

12.1 Age and Education

Students must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.

12.2 Class Size Limitations

Only the first 24 students who pay in full are guaranteed a seat.

12.3 Tuition Payment

Tuition must be paid in full before the course begins.

12.4 Literacy

Students who cannot read or understand English are responsible for their own interpretation of materials.

12.5 Time Frame for Completion

Admission is valid for 180 days. Courses must be completed within this period or re-enrollment is required.

12.6 Attendance Requirement

Students must be present during scheduled class times. Missed time must be made up.

13. Updates to Student Contact Information

13.1 Contact Information Changes

Changes to phone number, email, or mailing address must be provided in writing.

13.2 Valid Contact

Until notified, the school will use the original contact information.

14. Academic Integrity

14.1 Standards

The school upholds strict academic integrity.

14.2 Violations Include:

  • Cheating on exams

  • Copying another person’s work

  • Falsifying identity or data

  • Destroying or stealing school or student property

  • Stealing exam questions

14.3 Notification

The school will notify the student of violations within three business days.

14.4 Consequences

Actions may include warning, suspension, or expulsion.

14.5 Invalidated Certificates

Certificates may be nullified if integrity violations occur.

15. Student Conduct

15.1 Expectations

Students must act appropriately, show respect, use proper manners, and remain quiet during class.

15.2 Inappropriate Behavior Includes:

  • Violating school policies

  • Harassment or annoyance

  • Destruction of property

  • Disruptive behavior

Students may be expelled for such conduct.

16. Tuition and Course Dates

16.1 Program List and Tuition

  • Real Estate Pre-Licensing (60 hrs) – $350

  • Real Estate Final Sales (30 hrs) – $299

  • Real Estate Broker A (30 hrs) – $250

  • Real Estate Broker B (30 hrs) – $250

  • Property Management (30 hrs) – $275

  • Appraisal L-1 (30 hrs) – $285

  • Appraisal L-2 (30 hrs) – $285

  • Appraisal L-3 (15 hrs) – $275

  • Continuing Education (4 hrs) – $60

16.2 Tuition Changes

Prices may change without notice.

16.3 Discounts

Tuition listed does not include promotional discounts.

16.4 Inclusive Costs

No additional costs apply beyond listed tuition.

16.5 Course Completion

Students have 180 days from enrollment to complete a course.

17. Refund and Re-instatement Policy

17.2.1 School-Cancelled Courses

If the school cancels a course, students receive a 100% refund.

17.2.2 Student Cancellation (Live/In-Person/Hybrid)

Before class starts: 90% refund (10% processing fee), if requested by email.

17.2.3 Online Self-Paced Refunds

100% refund if:

  • Requested within 30 days, and

  • Course progress is 50% or less.
    No refund if progress > 50% or if a certificate has been issued.

17.2.4 No Refund After Start Date

For Live/In-Person/Hybrid, no refunds after the class starts.

17.2.5 One Free Date Change

One free reschedule within six months of the original date.
No refunds after the original start date even if rescheduled.

17.2.6 Reinstatement After Six Months

Students may be reinstated at 50% of original tuition.

18. Online Course Pass Guarantee

18.1 Overview

If a student does not pass the state exam on the first attempt after completing the Online Self-Paced Pre-Licensing course and meeting all requirements, they may choose a full refund.

18.2 Courses Covered

Applies only to Online Self-Paced Pre-Licensing courses.

18.3 Eligibility Requirements:

  • Complete 100% of the Online Self-Paced course

  • Complete all exam-prep modules

  • Take state exam within 60 days of course completion

  • Submit claim within 14 days with documentation

18.4 What Is Provided

Eligible students may choose:

  • Full tuition refund, or

  • One free 180-day re-enrollment

18.5 How to Claim

Email info@realestateschoolforsuccess.com with:
Name, course title, completion date, exam date, and score report.

18.6 Exclusions

Does not apply to Live/Hybrid classes, late submissions, expired access, incomplete exam prep, or corporate/group enrollments unless written otherwise.

18.7 Limitations

One claim per student per course. Refund invalidates any issued certificate. Cannot be combined with other refunds.

18.8 Effective Date

Applies to Online Self-Paced enrollments purchased after the policy publication date.
