No. A broker or company does not have to sponsor you to take classes or sit for the exam.
However, to finalize your licensing process, you must affiliate with a broker/real estate company. You will complete a form with the South Carolina Real Estate Commission to establish this relationship before receiving your provisional license.

You may take the exam up to three times.
If you do not pass after three attempts, you must retake the class at half price to ensure mastery of the material

Yes. You may sit in any class with available space for up to six months from your original class date and before your third exam attempt.

You may take it before or after, but the school recommends completing Unit II before the exam.
While waiting for approval and scheduling, taking Unit II helps reinforce the material and ensures you can obtain your license promptly after passing.

You may make up missed time in the next available class covering the same material.
You have six months to complete and pass the course.
